How the workbench handles
your models and data
Edit parameters in the browser. The server generates the geometry and mesh. Use the downloaded model in your engineering workflow and verify its suitability and any analysis results for the actual operating conditions.
Credits and generation
Guests can generate 3 models in total. Standard accounts receive 10 credits per month, refreshed at midnight on the first day of the month, China Standard Time. Licensed Web accounts receive 30 credits per week, refreshed at midnight on Monday. Successful generations use one credit. Failed or canceled jobs, downloads and position-only assembly changes use no additional credits. Web access is independent of the legacy desktop license. All supported thread types are available.
Guest usage is tracked using a visitor identifier for the current browser. Contact the product team for ongoing access or help with access problems.
What the server receives
The workbench sends the dimensions, mesh parameters and model filename you submit to the server for validation and generation. Results may include geometry, mesh and preview data. A CAD file upload is unnecessary.
The server keeps jobs and results for up to 1 hour. Deletion, capacity cleanup or maintenance can remove them sooner. Download what you need after generation. Browser history entries may remain after server files expire.
The service produces routine logs for troubleshooting. Use project codes in model filenames and keep personal or sensitive engineering information out of filenames.
What the browser keeps
Generation history, parameters and cached previews are stored in this browser. Clearing site data, changing browsers or using a private window can make these records unavailable. Keep your own copies of downloaded files.
A guest cookie identifies this browser for 180 days to track generation credits and access status. The server retains the corresponding visitor identifier, credits and access status as access records. The browser sends the cookie over HTTPS and blocks page scripts from reading it.
Support and data questions
Include the time, on-screen message and relevant parameters. For help with server-side access records, retain the guest state in your current browser and contact the team.
